Review Policy

First things first, if you are an author considering me for a review, thank you for considering me to review you book. Any book review requests I get I will consider thoroughly before politely accepting or declining. If I decline your book please do not be offended all it means is that I do not have enough time or that I don't think your book will suit my type of reading but I will always be polite and try to give a reason for declining rather than just replying with a blunt, harsh 'no'

The number 1 rule of reviewing book is that I always write honest reviews, although I am not here to 'bash' an author or a book. That means that if I read a book and don't like it, I won't slag off the author or book, I will just say that the book didn't work for me but I will give a review of it and suggest the type of audience who may like it. Please do not ask me to review your book if you are only looking for positive reviews as I can not guarantee a positive review.

I reserve the right to not finish and/or not review a book I accept. Although, I can guarantee that if I finish a book I have accepted, I WILL review it. I am not here to just get free books. However if I read a book and am not enjoying it within a decent length of the book I will usually stop reading which means I will not review it, although, I will try my best to give a review for books I read. Even if I push through and have read half of the book before retiring it I will give a rough review to the book, and try my best to get the book to an interested reader that would like to review the book on my behalf.

If you would like me to review a book within a certain time frame please state this within your original email, as receiving a book in the post and then receiving an email a few days later asking for a review within a short time period is not the best and may not be plausible as I also have things that will restrict my reading time like work and school as well as other things.

I am generally interested in reading/reviewing the following genres:

• Romance
• Fantasy
• Teen books
• Sci-fi
• Women's Fiction
• Teen Adult Fiction

Genre's that I will consider reading/reviewing are:

• Mystery
• Crime
• Suspense
• Thriller
• Contemporary

Although genres that I am not interested in reviewing are

• Children's books (aimed at ages younger than teens)
• Self-help books
• Horror

If you have a book within any other genre not stated, feel free to email me the book with a rough description of what it is about and I may be interested in reviewing as I am always up for something new.


I do have a kindle and ways to listen to books so I WILL review audiobooks and e-books. If your book has multiple formats that I am able to choose from please tell me this as I may prefer to have some on my kindle ect.

I reserve the right to post my review of the book on this blog, but if you would like me to post it elsewhere (Amazon, Goodreads ect) please state this and I will happily do so.
